In the case of Saudi Arabia, the Barça Foundation project, supported by Shell, has focused on addressing situations of social exclusion due to discrimination against women. In this case, the launch of the program against social exclusion in three schools in Riyadh, and in which 200 boys and girls participated, has led to an increase in opportunities for girls who play sports, has contributed to the training and consequent recruitment of women as physical education teachers and has fought for the destigmatisation of women's sport, which, until recently, was only considered suitable for the male population.
