Barça Foundation players have presented the fans with the LaLiga Genuine Santander, DICUP, and The Original Challenge trophies that they won last year

Before the match between Barça and Elche, the players of the Barça Genuine Foundation jumped onto the Spotify Camp Nou pitch, accompanied by their coaching staff, with the three trophies they won last season: LaLiga Genuine Santander, the DICUP tournament, and The Original Challenge. The 85,073 spectators at the stadium welcomed the team's successes with loud applause, a team made up of 20 men and 4 women with intellectual disabilities, who in their first season won all the competitions they participated in.
Of particular significance is the LaLiga Genuine Santander title, in the ‘Team Spirit’ group; the Barça Foundation secured it after earning more 'fair-play' points than Seville, with whom they had tied on points in the classification. Bearing in mind that the motto of the competition is "compartir abans que competir" (to share above competing), their début was perfect: the values learned by the Blaugrana players led them to success. It is also worth remembering that of the six people who make up the coaching staff at the Barça Foundation, three work specifically on the behavioural aspects of the team.

The players of Hamble Club FC Pan-Disability, the English team that the Barça Foundation will début against as part of the pre-season tomorrow, at 12 noon, on field 5 of the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper, were able to witness the treble win tribute from the stadium stands. This will be their third international game: on 8th May they played a friendly at home against the French team Seignosse Capbreton Souston and on 2nd July, in Daytona (Florida, United States), they played against the North American team Orlando City, a match that lead to them winning The Original Challenge.

This year, the Barça Foundation will have 30 footballers, six more than last year, and there will be a higher female presence.

"It has been great to be able to offer these sporting achievements to the fans. We are still basking in the excitement of what we experienced in the last season that ended in July. The players have come back full of energy and enthusiasm. Now, the main goal is to improve on all levels. We are doing really interesting work with each of the players, developing their skills. When it comes to sports, we want to do more than what we did last year. We will put all our knowledge into making that happen"
