The FC Barcelona Foundation is strengthening its commitment to children and young people in vulnera-ble situations with a new initiative through the Hassan El Ali Development Foundation (HADF), aimed at supporting boys and girls in Syria through sport.

This action includes the donation of sports equipment to schools, youth centers, community organizations, and grassroots football projects in Damascus, Deir ez-Zor, and other locations across the country, as well as the organization of sports activities and community events.

Through this initiative, the Barça Foundation is donating FC Barcelona shirts, footballs, and other sports materials, which will be distributed among children and young people from different communities across the country. The aim is to promote values such as inclusion, teamwork, resilience, and hope through sport, offering participants positive opportunities for leisure and community engagement.

HADF will be responsible for coordinating the distribution of the equipment to schools, youth centers, community organizations, and grassroots football projects in Damascus, Deir ez-Zor, and other governorates, as well as organizing sports activities and community events linked to this initiative.

This action once again demonstrates that sport is a powerful tool for social transformation, capable of generating a positive impact on the lives of children and strengthening community cohesion in complex contexts.
