Today saw the traditional charity men's football first team training session at the Estadi Johan Cruyff in the Ciutat Esportiva Joan Gamper. The event is organised annually during the festive season by the FC Barcelona Foundation and for a very important socially-minded reason, as the ticket sales go to one of the Foundation's projects. The amount collected this year will go to the Blaugrana Bracelets programme that aims to improve long-term hospital stays for children and teenagers, and others with serious diseases.

The FC Barcelona mascot CAT regularly appears at Foundation events and it spent some time interacting with the fans in the stands at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

Additionally and now somewhat becoming the norm at this charity training session, the two Foundation robots Pol and Joyce were out on the pitch. The robots are part of the FC Barcelona Foundation project and enable hospitalised children to listen to audio and watch videos to get the Barça experience when they cannot travel to the FC Barcelona installations. Several players approached the robots to interact with the children hospitalised due to illness and they were able to watch how the charity training unfolded.
