The charity auction is now underway of signed shirts worn by FC Barcelona players in the UEFA Champions League match against Paris Saint-Germain, played last October at the Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys.
The initiative, promoted by the Barça Foundation, aims to raise funds for the Polseres Blaugranes ('Barça Wristbands') programme, which seeks to humanise long-term hospital stays for children with serious illnesses.
Part of the proceeds will also go to the Xana Foundation, set up by former Barça coach and current PSG manager Luis Enrique in memory of his daughter Xana, who passed away in 2019 after battling cancer. The foundation provides medical, social and emotional support to children with serious illnesses and their families.
The auction is being hosted on the specialist platform MatchWornShirt, and will remain open until 3pm CET on Sunday 21 December.
Anyone interested can take part online and help support two causes that share the same goal: improving the wellbeing of children facing serious illness and ensuring they feel supported throughout their journey.
