This Wednesday 17 December, tickets go on sale for the open doors charity training sessions for the men’s and women’s football teams, which the FC Barcelona Foundation organises every year during the Christmas period. This year, the Barça women’s team is taking part for the first time.

Hansi Flick and his team will be training before the fans on Monday 29 December at 5pm, while the women will be doing likewise on Monday 5 January. Both sessions will be held at the Estadi Johan Cruyff.

Members will be able to purchase tickets during the first 24 hours at a single price of €3. After this period, tickets will also go on sale to the general public at a price of €6. This year, the handling fees for the training sessions are €1.75 for members and €2.50 for the general public. Each member may purchase up to six tickets, four of which will get the members’ discount.

All proceeds from these events will be donated to the Polseres Blaugranas ('Barça Wristbands') project, a FC Barcelona Foundation programme aimed at improving the long-term hospital stays of children and adolescents who are admitted to hospital or who suffer from serious illnesses.

The projects are carried out in collaboration with paediatric hospitals in Catalonia and around the world, with the aim of humanising care and treatment young patients, while adapting to the specific needs of each centre.
