European competition is about to return for the men’s first team, and penyas can now request tickets to cheer on Hansi Flick’s side. The first UEFA Champions League match of the season will see FC Barcelona face Newcastle United FC at St James Park.
Penya members who are correctly registered will be able to request their tickets from Monday 2 September at 2pm CEST until Thursday 4 September at 11.59pm CEST. Each ticket is priced at €50 and will be located in the away section at Newcastle's ground.
Penya managers will have until 7 September at 11.59pm CEST to confirm or reject the ticket requests. Finally, on 8 September, the Panyes Department will assign the tickets and, if necessary, carry out the corresponding draw before a notary.
Please note that tickets are personal and non-transferable, and each member must request them from their own personal profile. It is important for the applicant’s personal profile to be up to date, with a correct phone number, date of birth and nationality.
In addition, we remind you that to enter the United Kingdom, a valid passport and an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) are required. This measure has been mandatory since 2 April 2025 for EU citizens, among others, travelling for tourism or business for stays of under six months.
Please also note that submitting a request does not guarantee a ticket, as it will depend on the demand for seats at this match.
Important information about ticket collection
Important information about ticket collection
For security reasons and to ensure the correct process, it is essential to respect the time and place set for ticket collection.
The collection time for this match will be on 18 September from 10am to 6.30pm (local time) in Newcastle, at a location yet to be determined. Once the established collection period has ended, it will be understood that the buyer does not intend to collect the ticket(s) purchased and attend the match. Therefore, under no circumstances will tickets be delivered at an alternative location.
Collection details will be sent by email to penya members who have purchased a ticket.
New conditions this season
As of the 2025/26 season, penya members wishing to request a ticket for any of the men’s first team’s away fixtures must have been registered for at least six months. The starting date of this period will be the date when the person was first accepted by a penya.
Furthermore, to ensure that as many people as possible can attend away games, if it is detected that a person has requested tickets twice (as an FC Barcelona member and/or as a penya member) through any of the club’s official channels, and this duplication is discovered after the tickets have been assigned, one of the tickets will be cancelled.
