BENEFICIARY GROUPS SERVED SEASON 2019-2020

1. NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES FROM FUNDACIÓN BARÇA’S OWN PROJECTS:

The total number of children and young people is 363.005.

2. CRITERIA FOR SELECTING THE BENEFICIARIES:

• Participation in the projects is always free, voluntary, and open to all.

• A large part of the projects is carried out in coordination with the social welfare departments of the respective region to ensure that the most vulnerable children have access to our activities, and priority is given to the most vulnerable groups.

• In the Anti-Bullying Program in schools, the participants are primary school students from each registered school (voluntarily).

• In the Pediatric Emotional Well-being Program, the participants are children selected by the main pediatric hospitals in Catalonia and by organizations that work with seriously ill children.
  

3. PROVIDED SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES:

• Anti-Bullying Program: Participants attend workshops and curricular classes designed for bullying prevention.

• Programs against Social Exclusion, Refugee Program, Youth Violence Prevention Program, Diversity Program: Participants engage in extracurricular socio-educational sports activities accompanied by monitors and educators trained and advised by Fundación Barça (school curriculum in physical education in the case of the project carried out in Lebanon and New York). Occasionally, leisure activities are organized, such as visits to Camp Nou or an end-of-year festival.

• Pediatric Emotional Well-being Program: Participants take part in activities/meetings with FC Barcelona athletes, visits to Camp Nou through a remotely operated robot, etc.

• Donations Program: Social entities in Catalonia registered in this program receive invitations to attend a match of the Barça sections, Barça B, Women's team, museum tickets, as well as FC Barcelona clothing and merchandise.
