GROUP OF BENEFICIARIES ASSISTED SEASON 2018-2019

1. NUMBER OF BENEFICIARIES OF FUNDACIÓ BARÇA'S OWN PROJECTS:

The total number of children and young people is 626,368.

2. CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF BENEFICIARIES:

    • Participation in the projects is always free, voluntary, and open to all.

    • Many of the projects are carried out in coordination with the social welfare departments of the relevant area to ensure that the most vulnerable children have access to our activities, with priority given to the most vulnerable groups.

    • In the School Bullying Prevention Program, the primary school students of each registered school (voluntarily) participate.

    • In the Pediatric Emotional Well-being Program, the children are selected by the main pediatric hospitals in Catalonia and by organizations working with seriously ill children.

3. SERVICES AND ACTIVITIES PROVIDED:

    • Bullying Prevention Program: Participants engage in workshops and curricular classes designed for bullying prevention and take part in interactive activities aimed at raising awareness about bullying.

    • Program against social exclusion, refugee program, youth violence prevention program, diversity program: Participants engage in socio-educational and sports extracurricular activities/sessions accompanied by monitors and educators trained and advised by Fundació Barça (including physical education curriculum in the case of the project carried out in Lebanon and New York). Occasionally, leisure activities such as visits to Camp Nou or end-of-course festivals are organized.

    • Pediatric Emotional Well-being Program: Participants take part in activities/meetings with FC Barcelona athletes, visit Camp Nou through a remote-controlled robot, etc.

    • Donations Program: Social organizations in Catalonia registered in this program receive invitations to attend a match of the Barça B team, Women's team, museum tickets, as well as FC Barcelona clothing and merchandise.
