Sport as a means for preventing peer bullying

We implement all the tools that sport has to offer in a bid to curb the spread of bullying, aiming for prevention, raising awareness and increasing know-how about the issue

54% of teenagers in Catalonia have been involved in cases of direct or indirect bullying and 30% of children in primary school have been victims.

Knowing this problem, we are launching a program to prevent bullying with proven results.

More than 58% of children who are part of academy football teams in Catalonia have experienced bullying situations and more than 9% have been victims.

OUR MISSION AGAINST BULLYING

A methodology supported by scientific evidence

The effectiveness of this methodology has been assessed at test schools in Catalonia for two years by the LAECOVI research group. The Foundation has designed a new methodology for primary schools supported by scientific evidence.

  • 35% decrease in of victims of bullying and 54% in victims of cyberbullying.
  • +42.000 beneficiaries in Catalonia.
