Social reintegration of young inmates in Catalonia
JUVENILE JUSTICE CENTERS
Foundation
Methodological transfer project in juvenile justice centers with the Foundation's sports and educational methodology, which is aimed at social reintegration of young people, helping around 150 inmates a year develop their social skills, so they can use them in their life. One of the most significant improvements is that 88% of all participants have improved their self-control and respect towards others.
Our collaboration with the University of Barcelona through learning and service agreements allows students from the University of Barcelona to design and participate in the sessions. This project is carried out through an agreement with the Programs and Innovation Unit of the General Directorate of Community Criminal Enforcement and Juvenile Justice of the Department of Justice of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
