Project with Scotiabank and World Vision Peru

Educational, social and economic inclusion in Peruvian Amazone

The Peruvian Amazon zone suffers from a high degree of vulnerability in terms of education, particularly in the Loreto region. This project between Barça Foundation and Scotiabank with implemetation of World Vision Peru will help facilitate access to education and improve the educational, social and economic inclusion of vulnerable girls, boys, teenagers and young people living in the Maynas province's Punchana district in Loreto.

Together with World Vision Peru, the Foundation aims to generate impact on three fronts, namely: improving the quality of education in primary and secondary schools; fostering the development of socio-emotional skills and technical abilities in adolescents and young people for application in life and work scenarios; and the strengthening of a violence-free, caring family environment, which enables girls, boys, teenagers and young people to maximise their potential in order to become agents of change.
