Transforming the lives of young refugees through sport

Today there are 65 million people around the world who have fled their homes due to conflict and war. The Foundation has undertaken various initiatives to transform the lives of young refugees and raise awareness of their problems and promote their social integration in host countries.

Trip to the Greek island of Lesbos to undertake a clinic with both refugee and local children.

Foundation programme based on sport with refugee children in Greece, Italy, and Lebanon.

Sports kit developed with the help of Barça's Innovation Hub.

HIGH LEVEL FORUM

The Barça Foundation and UNHCR, the UN refugee agency, present the 'SignAndPass' campaign

Joining SignAndPass means you join a global movement to call on world leaders to do more for families forced to flee their homes. In December 2018, the Barça Foundation, in the person of its vice-president, Jordi Cardoner, took part in the forum of the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) in Geneva, where he explained the programme of the Barça Foundation to support refugee children and young people.
