ADVERTISING VIA SOCIAL MEDIA AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES |
Barça Foundation UNICEF Spanish Committee |
The relevant social media channel or application uses this information to verify whether the user has an account on the corresponding platform, thereby enabling the Barça Foundation or UNICEF Spanish Committee to carry out activities related to the concept of 'Custom or Tailored Audiences' for those users who have provided their consent for the Barça Foundation or UNICEF Spanish Committee to send them commercial communications and also have an account on said social media channel or application, thereby enabling advertising to be directly displayed on these channels. This type of activity may be performed via a variety of media channels, particularly social media networks, such as Facebook (Custom Audience), Twitter (Tailored Audience) and Google (Customer Match). Similarly, these social media networks or applications permit the sharing of user data to find or identify what are known as 'similar audiences', i.e., other users with a similar profile to those of the Barça Foundation and/or UNICEF Spanish Committee on said social media network or application but that are not Barça Foundation or UNICEF Spanish Committee users. This type of activity is often performed via social media networks, such as Facebook (Lookalike Audience), Twitter (Tailored Audience) and Google (Similar Audience). In this case, as the users themselves are not directly impacted by the advertising, the basic data of all users is used, regardless of whether they have consented to receive commercial communications. Please note that in the event you would prefer not to be shown advertising via social media or third-party platforms, you need to restrict access via your user profile settings, in accordance with the privacy policies of each of the platforms. Your data is supplied to us by these social media networks and/or application in anonymised, statistical form which prevents us from being able to identify you again or learn about additional new interests, unless you interact with us through one of our ads via the social media channel and/or application. |
Legitimate interest The data will be processed until you unsubscribe from the Barça Foundation and/or UNICEF Spanish Committee information service or until said processing is opposed. |
3. DATA COMMUNICATION
Your data will not be transferred, sold, leased or in any other way made available to any third parties, except to those Barça Foundation and UNICEF Spanish Committee service providers involved in carrying out certain activities for us (such as database management, etc.). These service providers shall not, however, process the data for their own ends under any circumstances. Some of these providers may be located outside the European Union, as indicated in Section 5 of this privacy policy.
4. PROFILE CREATION AND AUTOMATED DECISION-MAKING
As described below, the Barça Foundation and UNICEF Spanish Committee may use your user information to create a profile, considering all the data provided by you.
This profile will, for example, include information related to:
- The way you interact with the platform, the events you view, the time you view these events, your IP address, and the start and finish time of each connection to the platform.
- Your browsing behaviour by looking at cookies, cursor movements, as well as your preferences and interests.
- Your behaviour with regard to informative emails sent to you about the Partnership, such as, for example, the type of content you find interesting, according to whether you open an email and the relevant frequency of opening. This action will only be performed in the case that you have agreed to be sent commercial communications by ticking the relevant consent box provided to that end on the form.
- Any interactions you may have with other channels, such as inquiries made via our information or contact channels.
- Information that you may supply through the completion of satisfaction surveys.
- Information that you may supply via the programs run by the Barça Foundation and UNICEF Spanish Committee.
We also inform you that, for some services, your personal data may be processed by automated means. This means that certain decisions are made automatically without any human intervention, for example, that related to user segmentation based on interest in certain sections of the website or likelihood of using other services that we may offer.
In the event that you have agreed to be sent commercial communications, these may be tailored and personalised according to the interests of the users either on the basis of the services requested or any other information we are able to infer or obtain from your browsing, interest in certain content, reaction to our communications and other parameters listed in this section.
Said personalisation is performed on a partially automated basis, in the sense that although we set the personalisation parameters the user profile is generated by the technology platform. None of the communications we send out are of a general nature. All are subject to the aforementioned segmentation process, as we consider the communication of relevant information to be in the best interests of both our users and our organisation and because not doing so would have no impact on the number of messages users receive but would affect their content. As such, if you would prefer not to be included in this type of segmentation activity, we would ask you either not to give your consent for this information to be sent to you or, alternatively, you may lodge your opposition to this type of processing at any time.
5. INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS
The Barça Foundation and UNICEF Spanish Committee, as international organisations, may employ international service providers (for example, suppliers responsible for data-storage management, issuing communications, etc.) from outside the EU, as a result of which, user data may be processed outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
We will always ensure that any data processing is, in all circumstances, protected by the application of the appropriate safeguards, which may include:
- Standard Clauses approved by the EU
- Third-party certification
6. DURATION OF PROCESSING
All the data provided shall be subject to processing for the relevant periods established in Section 2 of this privacy policy.
Notwithstanding these timeframes, your data may be stored anonymously for statistical or market research purposes, where applicable, or duly blocked to comply with any legal obligation corresponding to the Barça Foundation and UNICEF Spanish Committee.
7. FURTHER INFORMATION AND EXERCISING YOUR RIGHTS
