The Pies Descalzos Foundation is a Colombian non-governmental organization created by the artist Shakira that seeks to promote quality public education among children and young people at risk of exclusion in Colombia. This alliance, in collaboration with the "la Caixa" Bank Foundation, is currently focusing on the construction of a new public school in the city of Barranquilla (Colombia), a project that is already underway.

The aim of the alliance is to prevent violence and promote positive and collaborative activities by working with teachers. The program also focuses on the promotion of quality sports and educational actions and projects, based on the values and personal development of the children who will benefit from the project. The Barça Foundation provides its methodology based on sport and physical activity.
