The players pass out hope and presents at local hospitals

Barça’s first team, accompanied by members of the board of directors, visited seven Barcelona hospitals, where they passed out 4,000 presents to sick children

FC Barcelona’s first team made a lot of children very happy this Thursday. First, with the open-door training session at the Miniestadi and later with the traditional visits to Barcelona hospitals through FC Barcelona Foundation’s ‘Un somni per un regal’ (A dream for a present) campaign.

Four thousand gifts

In total, the players, accompanied by a member of the board, visited 7 hospitals and passed out 4,000 gifts: FC Barcelona gear, AlmoNaska SL products, Alusport Bottles, CYP Importes Sal, Madess Deporte SL, Salander, Josmar Sport and Ejakoa.

Rosell, at Hospital of Barcelona

President Sandro Rosell led the Azulgrana expedition to Hospital Barcelona, where he was accompanied by the director, Javier Bordas and the players, Javier Mascherano and Maxwell. All of whom talked to Barça TV during their trip (video above).

The FC Barcelona manager, Josep Guardiola, visited Hospital Nens de Barcelona, with Alves, Adriano, Fotas, Cuenca and Muniesa, and the director Pilar Guinovart.

The rest of the Barça footballers went to Hospital Sant Pau, Hospital del Mar, Sant Joan de Déu, Hospital de Vall d’Hebron and Trias i Pujol. Before making their way to Trias i Pujol, Xavi, Serio Roberto, and the directors Dídac Lee and Manel Arroyo, passed out presents at the Guttmann Institute.
