The FC Barcelona Foundation and UNICEF celebrate World Children's Day together. This event commemorates the approval of the Convention on the Rights of the Child on 20 November 1989, the most ratified human rights treaty in history.

To celebrate this day, both organizations have produced a commemorative video featuring children from the projects carried out by Fundació Barça and UNICEF’s Catalonia Committee. This film also features Sergio Busquets, captain of FC Barcelona’s men's first team, and Leila Ouahabi, one of the players from the women's first team.

As per the motto “All one for Children”, Fundació Barça and UNICEF once again put children first, reminding us that all boys, girls, and young people have the right to play and grow up with equal opportunities. Games are extremely powerful tools for educating and protecting children and help them to build and develop their full potential. In short, being able to play helps their physical and emotional well-being.

Fundació Barça and UNICEF have been partners since 2006 and together they have helped 3 million children from 7 countries access sports initiatives for play and protection.
