The Barça Foundation experiences the magic of the Palau

Invited by Sergi Martínez, the male and female players of this team have attended the Barça-Granada match and have danced the haka during half-time of the match.

Last Wednesday, Sergi Martínez, a small forward for the FC Barcelona first basketball team, met Guillem Anglès, a Barça Foundation player, and invited him, along with his teammates, to the ACB League match that was played today at Palau Blaugrana between Barça and Coviran Granada. Guille, who is also an international player for Spain in the basketball team for people with disabilities, accepted the invitation and was able to see Saras Jasickevicius's team live, along with the rest of the Barça Foundation squad.

Before the match, a photograph of the Barça Foundation with the Barça basketball team was taken, in a fun and emotional encounter. Afterwards, the male and female players of the team, accompanied by their coaching staff, watched the Barça-Granada match with excitement at the side of the court. However, their time came at half-time, when they took to the Palau court with all their enthusiasm to dance the famous haka in front of the culé fans. In addition, a Barça basketball legend, Juan Carlos Navarro, has given them a ball that he has signed himself. Surely Guillem Anglès and his colleagues will not forget this afternoon or the magic of the Palau.
