Director Javier Faus is leading a party of club representatives to Mexico on an institutional visit where the main objective is to sign an agreement to foster literacy among young people in the country
A number of other institutional and commercial meetings have been scheduled with companies and organisations in Mexico

From Wednesday until next Friday, the vice president of the FC Barcelona Economic and Strategic Department, Javier Faus, will be in Mexico on an institutional visit. The main event will the presentation in Mexico City of a campaign to foster reading skills among the countries youth, in which the FC Barcelona Foundation is collaborating as the result of an agreement with the Communication Council.

Faus will be meeting the patrons of the Mexican group behind this cultural initiative, the Communication Council, and will also be collecting a special ‘Brand of Brands’ award that the University of Anahuac is presenting to FC Barcelona.
The trip will include a number of other meetings with different companies in a country where Barça enjoys massive support, as shown by the fact that the club has more than three million Mexican followers on Facebook, the second highest number in the world.
