This Tuesday, coinciding with the Barça-Getafe match, FC Barcelona President Sandro Rosell will host 11 authors in the president box at the Camp Nou for the “Lletres, al camp!” [Letters, to the stadium!] campaign. The campaign’s goal is to promote Catalan works of literature in celebration of the Day of Sant Jordi, organized by the Institute of Catalan Literature and the FC Barcelona Foundation since 2005. The authors will gift copies of their works to Mr. Rosell and La Masia’s library.

All 11 authors have all won distinctions for their work throughout their careers. The campaign will continue through the month of April, and will come to a close during the Barça-Madrid match. During this match, a collection of eleven excerpts from the books will be distributed throughout the Camp Nou, specially edited for the occasion, brining together phrases from the eleven authors on the world of football, Barça and literature.
