We work to improve the emotional well-being of refugee and migrant girls and boys through sport. We also encourage their integration with children and young people of other nationalities and from the local community

According to UNHCR data, there are 80 million forcibly displaced people in the world, half of whom are girls and boys.

At the Foundation we view sport as a great tool to provide psychosocial support to these children. Physical activity and play allow them to fight trauma and focus on being children.

More than 24,000 girls, boys and young people have benefited from the Barça Foundation’s activities in Lebanon, Greece, Italy and Catalonia.
