We work towards using sport to improve the emotional wellbeing of refugee and migrant children and young people. Through this program we contribute to five of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)

Main SDG. Sport is a great tool for offering psychosocial support to these boys and girls. Games and physical activity enable them to tackle trauma and focusing on being children.

Secondary SDG. The Foundation has trained a hundred educators in how to implement the FC Barcelona Foundation’s SportNet methodology.

Secondary SDG. We smooth social inclusion and integration between displaced people and local communities.

Cross-sectional SDG. The Foundation demonstrates its commitment to supporting child refugees through implementing projects in Catalonia, Greece, Italy, Denmark and Germany.

Cross-sectional SDG. In every country the Foundation is involved in, it collaborates with local partners to implement its programs in refugee camps, informal settlements, community camps, youth centres and schools.
