The Barça Foundation understands sport is a fundamental tool for helping to create equal opportunities and break down prejudices against physical activity and functional diversity

Children with functional diversity have the right to enjoy the same educational opportunities as any other child. For this reason, the Barça Foundation adapts the FutbolNet methodology to encourage specific groups of children with different abilities.

The Barça Foundation, using the FutbolNet methodology, runs an inclusive program that encourages all groups to include children and young people with and without functional diversity.

In Catalonia, 25,500 children and young people between 0-15 years old, according to the Department of Labor, Social Affairs and Family, in 2018.
