Basketball clinic with athletes from the Catalonia Special Olympics under the Euroleague project"One Team"

On Tuesday, at the Municipal Sports Centre Mundet, a basketball clinic was held, directed by a large group of FC Barcelona veterans. The beneficiaries of this activity were twenty athletes from The Catalonia Special Olympics - ACELL (Catalan Sports Federation for Persons with Intellectual Disability).

Veterans Manuel Flores, Pedro Cesar Ansa, Miguel Angel Estrada, Javier Crespo and Manel Bosch, all took part. They all coordinated a training session based around basketball sports games in which Special Olympics athletes were able to show their skills in this discipline.

This session forms part of the Euroleague project 'One Team' with the collaboration of the FC Barcelona Foundation and Special Olympics Catalonia - ACELL. This project created by Euroleague forms part of their range of social initiatives and intends to use this sport to promote social integration , especially amongst young people.
